Q. What is a Customer ID?
A. A Customer ID is a word or identifier that you establish to use in place of your Social Security number when logging in to your Fidelity accounts. The first time you create a new Customer ID you will need to establish a new Personal Identification Number (PIN) and Security Question.

Q. Where do I use my Customer ID?
A. Your Customer ID is the identifier (along with your PIN) that you
will use to access all of your Fidelity accounts, including Full-View,
brokerage or mutual fund accounts, NetBenefits, Charitable Gift Fund,
Life Insurance, etc.
After you have established your Customer ID, use it to access your Fidelity accounts online, on the Fidelity Automated Services Telephone (FASTSM), when using the phone systems to speak with a representative, or with wireless devices equipped with Fidelity AnywhereSM.

Q. How do I use my Customer ID on Fidelity's telephone services
(both automated and phone representatives)?
- Before entering a Customer ID on Fidelity's telephone services, follow the prompts to distinguish your Customer ID from a Social Security number.
- Convert any letters in your Customer ID to numbers using your telephone keypad.

Q. How do I create or change my Customer ID?
A. You can only Create or Change a Customer ID online. A phone representative cannot establish a Customer ID for you.
With the link above you can create a new Customer ID or change an existing Customer ID. The first time you create a new Customer ID you will need to establish a new Personal Identification Number (PIN) and Security Question.

Q. How do I update other software, like Quicken® or
Microsoft®Money that use my log in information to download
account data?
A. You must manually update any third party software that uses your Fidelity login information to download or access information.
Below are instructions for updating the following products with your Customer ID and PIN.
MS Investor
You must update MS Investor to use your new Customer ID and PIN to access Fidelity account information.
- Log into MS Investor using an e-mail ID and a valid PIN.
- Select the Banking section.
- Select the My Accounts link.
- From the left bar, select Account Details page, select the Update Your Fidelity Investments Logon Information link.
- On the Edit Account Information page, enter your new Customer ID and PIN.
- Click the Save Changes button once data input is complete.

Microsoft® Money
You must update Microsoft® Money to use your new Customer ID and PIN to access account information.
- Select the Accounts & Bills menu.
- Select the Set Up an Account link from the Common Tasks menu.
- Select Setup Online Services link on the Set Up Your Accounts in Money page
- Select an account from the list of Fidelity accounts.
- Click the Modify button on the Modify Online Services for Fidelity Investments page.
- In the Update Online Services wizard, select the option to change the online information and/or download current online settings, then click the Next button.
- Provide your new Customer ID and PIN on the page displayed and click the Next button.
- Once the account information is updated, click the Next button without making further changes.
- Select Finish to complete the setup wizard process.
- Click the Done button on the Modify Online Services for Fidelity Investments page.

Quicken®
You must update Quicken to use your new Customer ID and PIN to access account information.
- Select Accounts List under the Finances menu.
- Select an account and then select the Edit menu. Please note: Prior to selecting this option, accept all transactions to the register.
- Update the Customer ID field with your new Customer ID.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all accounts linked to Fidelity Investments.
- As accounts are updated with the new Customer ID, the drop down list will display the Customer ID.
- You will be requested to provide your active PIN to download Fidelity account information.
